Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along large portions of eastern Queensland this week as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
The following day was expected to become the most rainy day, with continued thunderstorm potential expected across various areas of both regions.

Health officials cautioned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
