Starting on the last day of October at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, the next part of the Derry prequel will make its debut on HBO's online platform, prior to its traditional TV airing. The remaining installments of the show's first season will continue to air on the weekend on HBO and HBO Max, leading up to the final episode on Sunday, December 14.

Storyline Summary

Based in Stephen King’s It universe, the new series draws from the original story while enlarging the setting realized by the It movie director in It and It Chapter Two. The original It centered on adolescents confronting unimaginable horrors, making it appropriate that the series continues that tradition. Nevertheless, the premiere episode of HBO’s Welcome to Derry shows it intended to escalate the fear, providing even more intense scares than Muschietti’s films and creating a harsh vibe for the rest of the season.
