Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to speak to Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk region on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he engaged with soldiers at the military base of the initial brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately 20km from the city.

Critical Situation in the Area

Updated analysis from a local initiative showed that Russian forces had made gains into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it was not fully held by either side. The conditions are severe, with accounts indicating that Russian forces were establishing defenses and building up positions in certain areas.

Russian forces continue to advance in the Pokrovsk direction and are reportedly acting with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.

Research institutes commented that national troops had liberated a significant portion of a opposition incursion in the Dobropillya area, on the east side of the Pokrovsk campaign.

Kyiv's Long-Range Assaults Deep Inside Russia
